Studio Assistant (In-Studio)

Position Type: Part-time, In-Studio

Compensation: Minimum wage - $15 - $20 per hour, based on experience

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Studio
Associate
with a solid understanding of floral and event aesthetics
to support our in-studio operations. While this is not a design role, we are
seeking someone who has a good eye for design and can understand the flow of
events and floral arrangements. The Studio Associate will be involved in
pre-event planning, working closely with the design team and the business owner
to ensure that all materials, floral recipes, and event logistics are in place.
This role will also involve content creation for social media and assisting
with Instagram Live sessions and workshops. Ideal candidates will
have prior experience in event coordination or floral design, but we are open
to training the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination:

  • Collect event data including timelines, floral recipes, client preferences, and vendor details to ensure all information is accurately gathered.
  • Communicate with clients and planners leading up to events to confirm details, timelines, and expectations.
  • Act as a point of contact for event logistics, ensuring that the design team has the necessary materials and supplies to execute the event.

Studio & Event Preparation:

  • Ensure floral orders and recipes are submitted on time to the team.
  • Help identify and prepare the necessary materials (flowers, props, rentals) required for upcoming events.
  • Work with the team to ensure everything is set up for events, ensuring that all items are pulled and ready.

Content Creation & Social Media Support:

  • Assist in creating content for social media
    (photos, videos, behind-the-scenes moments) to promote the brand.
  • Work with the business owner to plan and execute Instagram Live sessions, helping to run and promote in-person events and workshops.

Event Follow-Up:

  • Handle post-event follow-up including client
    feedback and returning or cleaning event materials as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Floral & Event Understanding: A strong understanding of floral design and event aesthetics, with an appreciation for how
    events are set up and executed. While design experience is not required, a keen sense of design is essential.
  • Event Coordination Experience: Experience in event planning, floral design support, or related fields is highly preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all event preparations run smoothly.
  • Content Creation: Comfort in helping create content for social media, including photos, videos, and livestreaming.
  • Positive, Friendly, Professional Attitude: Must have a positive demeanor, be professional in client interactions, and exhibit a flexible, “can-do” attitude.

Sales & Outreach Specialist (Local Remote)

Position Type: Part-time, Remote

Compensation: $25 per hour (based on experience)

Hours: 2-5 hours per week

Job Overview:

We are seeking a charismatic and
confident Sales & Outreach Specialist to help grow and promote our floral
business. As a key representative of our brand, you will serve as the first
point of contact for potential clients, partners, and vendors, helping to shape
and expand our network. You will play a critical role in driving our outreach
strategy, developing relationships with local vendors and collaborators, and
ensuring that our brand message is consistent, positive, and aligned with our
values. This role requires someone who is not only passionate about the floral
industry but also enthusiastic about supporting a small business with heart.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, personable, and capable of building
meaningful connections that drive business growth. While you will not be
creating floral designs, a strong understanding of event aesthetics and design
sensibilities is important for curating compelling offerings for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client & Vendor Outreach: Lead email canvassing campaigns, initiating and nurturing relationships with local vendors, venues, event planners, photographers, farmers, and other key partners.
  • Brand Representation: Be the voice of the brand, reflecting the company’s joyful, optimistic, and positive energy in every interaction. Represent the business truthfully and authentically, aligning with our values and ethos.
  • Strategic Campaigns: Collaborate on creating and executing outreach campaigns, including PR and media inquiries, to raise
    brand awareness and build credibility in the community.
  • Lead Generation & Networking: Curate lists of potential vendor partners who align with our brand and create opportunities for. collaboration. Organize and participate in meetings to introduce the business to potential new partners.
  • Consultations & Client Support: Coordinate and schedule client consultations, manage inquiries, and assist with creating mood boards and floral order suggestions.
  • Sales Support: Provide assistance in the sales process, helping to craft proposals, handle client communications, and secure sales.
  • Brand Voice & Content Creation: Develop
    client-facing materials that reflect the company’s style, values, and commitment to high-quality service. Support the creation of branded assets like mood boards, event briefs, and other marketing materials.
  • Growth & Development: As the company grows, this role will transition from a focus on outreach to increased client-facing
    responsibilities, including direct involvement in client consultations and managing a growing sales pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales,customer service, or account management, particularly in an event-based or creative industry.
  • Floral & Event Aesthetic Knowledge: A strong understanding of event aesthetics, floral design principles, and the wedding/event industry. Previous experience working in events, floral design, or at a venue would be ideal but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Self-Starter & Motivated: Ability to work independently, set priorities, and execute tasks with minimal supervision. A passion for
    supporting a small business and a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and other project management tools. Experience with CRM systems is a plus.

Job Overview:
We’re seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Lead Floral Designer, preferably as a contractor, to join our creative team. This position is ideal for a skilled floral designer who works confidently and independently, thrives under pressure, and has leadership experience. You’ll be responsible for executing floral designs at events, workshops, and pop-ups, as well as leading in-studio projects. You will also be the face of the brand when needed, representing Wild Nomad Flower Co. at on-site events when I am unavailable. Proven floral design experience and leadership are a must for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Floral Design Creation: Independently design and assemble floral arrangements, installations, and event decor that align with our aesthetic.
  • Event Setup & Execution: Lead floral installations on-site under tight timelines, ensuring flawless execution and a cohesive presentation of designs.
  • Creative Decision-Making: Make confident design decisions from concept to execution, adapting to our style while adding your unique touch to each project.
  • Client Collaboration: Work with clients to understand their floral vision and bring it to life with your expertise.

Job Overview:

We are seeking dependable, physically capable, and detail-oriented Floral Delivery & Strike Team Members. This role is a combination of floral delivery and event setup/breakdown, playing a critical role in executing high-quality floral services for our business. The position involves both delivering floral orders weekly, as needed, and handling floral setups and breakdowns for events. Flexibility with working weekends, evenings, and late nights is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Floral Delivery:

  • Deliver floral orders to customers' homes or event venues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure careful handling of floral arrangements during transport to maintain their integrity and presentation.
  • Communicate with clients regarding delivery schedules and updates as needed.

Event Setup & Execution:

  • Install and arrange floral displays, furniture, and decor at event venues, ensuring everything is placed with care and aligns with the design vision.
  • Safely load and unload floral arrangements, decor, and event equipment into vehicles, ensuring proper care during transport.

Strike (Event Breakdown):

  • After events, carefully disassemble, pack, and load floral materials and event decor back into vehicles, returning them to the studio.
  • Safely transport items back to the studio for storage.

Vehicle Operation:

  • Must have your own vehicle for deliveries, ensuring safe transport of floral arrangements and event items. A clean, valid driver's license is required.

Flexibility:

  • Available for weekend, evening, and late-night shifts, especially for event breakdowns or deliveries.
  • On-call availability for both floral deliveries and event-related responsibilities.

Basic Assembly & Maintenance:

  • Use basic tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers) to assemble or adjust event equipment and decor as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience & Skills:

  • Prior experience in floral delivery or event-related work is preferred.
  • Must have a clean driving record and a current valid driver’s license.
  • Comfortable driving larger vehicles (cargo vans, small trucks) or using your own vehicle for deliveries.

Physical Stamina:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work on your feet for hours during event setups and breakdowns.

Reliability & Flexibility:

  • Must be punctual, professional, and able to commit to scheduled and on-call shifts.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to last-minute changes or event needs.

Team Player:

  • Comfortable working in a small team during events and collaborating on tasks to ensure a seamless execution.
  • Must be comfortable taking direction and working independently as needed.

Compensation & Hours:

  • Payment is based on a day rate per event, ranging from $125 plus, depending on the number of hours and location of the event.
  • Floral deliveries and event setups typically require 2–3 hours of work each, with additional hours for event breakdowns.
  • Hours will vary based on events and deliveries, with the potential for more work if you are available for additional deliveries.
